The LGSS had begun a series of capacity building training exercises aimed at addressing capacity gaps identified  with the aid of the Functional Organizational Assessment Tool (FOAT) used to assess the performance of MMDAs.  The first training was in Public Procurement Management and was handled by procurement experts from the Public Procurement Authourity. the next was in Documentation and Records Management, which was also facilitated by officilas from the Public Records and Archives Administration Department (PRAAD). The next training would be in management and leadership skills and it is expected to commence in the second week of May, 2010.
